\u201cAlonia\u201d neighborhood south of Agios Ioannis has been converted into a mountain refuge offering overnight accommodation and food to mountaineers who wanted to visit the highest peaks of the White Mountains.<\/p><p>Over time, Alonia was transformed from a one-room retreat into seven separate bedrooms, maintaining the same atmosphere and philosophy: A place of tranquility but at the same
